Mr. Youree Williams was born to the parentage of the late Joe and Bessie Williams. He was the fourth of five children.He was educated in the St. John community. He joined the army in 1943 and fought in World War II. After serving our country, he was employed for over 30 years at the Darco Mining Company.

At an early age, he was baptized at the St. John Missionary Baptist Church. Later, he moved his membership to Pine Bluff Baptist Church where he served as chairman of the deacon board until his health failed.

Later, he met and married , the love of his life, Miss Gracie Lee Harris. To this union, three children were born.In a previous relationship a son, Herman Williams, was born.

Preceding him in death his son, Herman Williams, daughter, Betty Williams, wife, Gracie Williams, brothers, L. C. Williams and Leonard D. Williams, sister, Ethel Richardson and step-son Howard Haynes.

He is survived by two daughters, Trudy Williams and Yolanda Hutchinson (Samuel); 11 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 7 great, great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
