Mrs. Willie Mae Montgomery, daughter of the late Willis Wesley and Dora Johnson-Wesley, was born November 26, 1922 in Harrison County, Texas.

She was a member of Cedar Grove United Methodist Church where she sang in the choir and served in the church faithfully until her health failed.

Mrs. Willie Mae Montgomery departed this life on Sunday, June 16, 2019 at Longview Hills Nursing Home, Longview, Texas.

She was preceded in death by parents; husband, Esque Montgomery, Jr. and son, Herman R. Montgomery.

She leaves to cherish her loving memory four sons: Lee Earl (Evelyn) Montgomery of Jefferson, Calvin Montgomery, and Esque Montgomery both of Diana, Texas and Willie Dean Montgomery of Longview, Texas ; one bonus daughter, Yvonne Evette Wesley of Houston, Texas; one sister, Dessie Rae Shadowens of Houston, Texas; five grandchildren,fourteen great grandchildren, sixteen great, great grandchildren; a number of nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and special friends.
