Funeral services for Venessa Ann Agers, 45, will be Saturday, September 6, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. in the Lewis Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be in the Lewis Cemetery in Elysian Fields, Tx.

Ms. Venessa Agers was born on December 22, 1979, in Marshall, Texas to Cynthia Agers and Foster Breedlove, Jr. God called her home on Wednesday, August 20, 2025. Venessa attended Marshall Public schools. She accepted Christ at an early age. She was a devoted mother and grandmother. Venessa was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Ms. Arthur Mae Cooper of Waskom, Texas, and Ms. Dorothy Washington Ware of Greenwood. LA., her grandfathers, Albert Agers of Marshall, TX. and Foster Breedlove of Shreveport, LA. She leaves to cherish her memory, her mother, Cynthia Agers of Marshall, TX. and father, Foster Breedlove, Jr. of Shreveport, LA., four beautiful children, Miesha Brown, Perry Brown, Jr., Adarius Henderson all of Longview, TX. and Serenity Agers of Marshall, TX., six sisters, Naglisher McCowan of Dallas, TX., Stephanie Cole and Cynthia Moody both of Oaklahoma, Fausteen Agers of Mesquite, TX., LaTisha Agers of Arlington, TX. and Francie Sneed of Marshall, TX., one brother, Foster Agers of Marshall, TX.; seven grandchildren; a number of nieces, nephews, cousins and a very special friend, Billy Henderson of Marshall, TX.
