Ura B. Lemon was born March 18, in De Berry, Texas.

He was a devoted and oldest son of Nettie Jean Walton Lemon and William H. Lemon Sr., currently of De Berry, Texas.

He was also a cherished, beloved  brother to his brother and sisters, five of whom mourn his passing even as they celebrate his life. Two brothers preceded him in death.

His extended family in Panola County includes his beloved first cousin, all the children of the late Roosevelt Walton Jr. and Mrs. Odessa Walton of De Berry as well as friends.

His devoted grandparents, Roosevelt and Mary Ella Walton, and a cherished aunt Miss Mary Elizabeth Walton, preceded him in death.

Bernard served in the United States Army, doing tours in Vietnam. During his service he received several medals and awards. After his service he became a long haul truck driver, achieving Driver of the Year multiple times at Tyson Foods before retiring.

He will be forever loved and remembered with much love, gratitude and joy.
