Funeral services for Rickie Earl Frazier will be held in the Lewis Funeral Home Chapel Saturday, April 27, 2024, at 11:00 A.M. Interment will be Longridge Cemetery in Waskom, TX. Viewing Friday, April 26, 2024, at Lewis Funeral from 1 to 7:00 P.M.

Rickie Earl Frazier was born October 3, 1958, in Los Angeles, California to Sidney and Bernice Rudd Frazier. At an early age, Rickie sought the Saviour and joined Strickland Spring Baptist Church in Waskom, Texas. He remained a faithful member.

Rickie departed this earthly life on Tuesday, April 16, 2024.

He was a graduate of Marshall High School Class of 1977.

On August 1, 1978, Rickie Earl married Doretha Cox and to this union three children were born: a daughter, Teresa Bernice Louise Frazier and twin sons, Kevin Andrea Frazier and Devin Duante Frazier.

Rickie was employed at numerous jobs which included Talley Service Station, Kroger, Blue Buckle, Republic Industries, Manly's Furniture, Sears & Roebuck, Little C. Construction, Tyson Foods, Clark's Furniture, Carthage Furniture, Adams Furniture, and S&R Construction Company.

Rickie Earl was a man who was blessed with many talents sharing his expertise with the community. As a hardworking individual, Rickie was affectionately known as "Mr. Fix-It". He also painted and repaired cars, houses and buildings. He was employed at S&R Construction before his health failed. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing with his grandson and great granddaughter.

Rickie Frazier was preceded in death by his parents, Sidney and Bernice Frazier; daughter, Teresa Bernice Frazier; son, Kevin Andrea Frazier brothers, Kenneth Lee Frazier, Sr., Herbert Frazier, and Floyd Frazier and nephew, Kenneth Frazier, Jr.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his wife, Doretha Frazier; son, Devin Frazier; brothers, Sidney (Mary) Frazier and James (Gloria) Frazier; sisters, Helen (Rev. Wilburt) Hall, Gail Frazier, and Patricia Frazier Butler; two grandchildren; one great granddaughter; a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
