Perry Earl Dillard, Jr. was in born February 17, 1959 in Marshall, Texas to Perry Lee Dillard and Beulah Mae McCowan Dillard.

Perry confessed a saving hope in Jesus Christ at a very young age at Second Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church.

He received his formal education from Marshall Independent School District. He was a graduate of Marshall High School Class of 1979. After graduating from high school, Perry worked several jobs in the Marshall area. He worked at Monarch Tiles for two years, then he worked for the City of Marshall and retired after twenty-four years of service. He would put up Christmas lights for the City of Marshall and surrounding areas. Everyone loved his creativeness.

A time to Marry. . . At a Special Time in his life, Perry Earl married a Beautiful young lady by the name of Sheril Loraine Archer and 3 children were born to this union; Perry III, Shalonda, and Terrell Dillard.

On Tuesday, December 6, 2022, Perry Dilliard, Jr. departed this Walk of Life and transitioned from earth to Glory. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Perry and Beulah Dillard; sisters, Velma Johnson and Veronica Dillard-Hill; son, Terrell Dillard; nephews, Paul Brazzell, Wendell Graves, Kenneth Dillard, Jr,, Kendrick Brazzell, Jr. and Eric B. Johnson; niece, Jamie Fulton; grandparents, Alonza and Lillie Bell Dillard.

Those left to cherish his memories include his wife, Sheril Dillard (Rene); children, Perry Dillard III (Tiffani) and Shalonda Dillard (Kinte); granddaughters, Kamora Dillard and Ryleigh Dillard; aunt, Carrie McCowan; sisters, Jennifer Brazzell, Alice Gaut (David), Jannie Dillard, Mary Hurd (Donald), Cathy O'Bryant, Pamela Dillard (Bruce), Velma Dillard (Jeffery), Pamela Burnett (Anthony), Brenda Dillard and Tabrica Long (Dominic); brother, Kenneth Dillard; and a host of nephews, nieces, family and friends.
