Mrs. Patricia Jackson, our beloved matriarch, has made her transition to be with the Lord at 88 years of age.

Mrs. Patricia Jackson was born in Thibodaux, Louisiana. She relocated to Marshall, Texas with her mother Edwina Baptiste-Mosby and the Martin family when she was a young girl. She was extremely hard working, loved to cook, devoted to her family and enjoyed get-togethers. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She was a woman of faith, courage and strength. She was a lady that took care of business. For over thirty years she served as the Director of Nursing at Marshall Manor. In her retirement days, she co-owned a Bail Bonding business, which supported the community. She assisted wherever there was a need. She was giving of herself and her time. Patricia Jackson was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, sister and friend. Her passion was family and she was a kind, caring and generous person. She was always willing to lend a helping hand. Mrs. Patricia Jackson showed us how to achieve goals and exceed expectations.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Jackson, two sons, David Andre' Jackson and Paul Micheal Jaxkson, sonstepson, Orestus Jackson and grandson, David Jackson, Jr. Also, her siblings, Marie Norris, Florence Baptiste, Lillie Mae Pike and Vernice M. Jones.

Mrs. Patricia Jackson is survived by her granddaughter, Gwendolyn Burgess, her stepdaughters, Charlesetta Jackson, Linda Louise Portlock, Patricia Ann Jackson and stepson, Henry Olden Jackson. In addition, her beloved extended family, the Martin, a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
