There's no Night without a Dawning. No Winter without a Spring. Beyond death's dark horizon, our hearts once more will sing. For those who leave us have, for a while, just gone away - Out of a restless, careworn world into a Brighter Day. Where there will be no parting and time is not counted by years. Where there are no trials or troubles; No worries, No cares, No tears.

Mary Frances Rhine Sparks, was born to Samuel and Emma Rhines on June 10, 1922 in Scottsville, Texas, departed this life on October 31, 2020. Her siblings included two brothers and four sisters. She received her education in Scottsville, Texas. She was united in Holy Matrimony to Raymond Sparks. To this union four daughters were born: Dorothy Jean (Jams) Williams, Vera (Leon) Miller, Mary (Oliver) Strickland and Lucille (Joseph) Clark.

Mary's parents, siblings, and two of her daughters preceded her in death. She leaves to mourn her passing two daughters - Dorothy Williams and Mary (Oliver) Strickland; six grandchildren - Anthony Troy Johnson, Dominic Lamont Strickland, James Lee Williams, Douglas Raymond Johnson, Julian Lance Williams, and Patrick Leon Miller. Other surviving members include 16 great grandchildren, 4 great, great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Special recognition is given to the Marshall Home Care and Hospice staff for providing exception care and nurturing. We are extremely grateful for the detailed comfort and care given to Mary Sparks. The family expresses gratitude to Marshall Manor Rehab and Nursing for caring for Mary in such a diligent and attentive manner. We are exceedingly grateful for the dedication of the staff and nurses on C Wing. We owe a debt of gratitude to both of these extremely competent and professional medical entities. Thank you for all you have done for Mary Frances Sparks and for our family.
