HER STORY

Margaret Cade Webb was born June 22, 1927 to the union of Samuel and Floyda Mae Cade by a midwife at home.

She accepted Christ early in life and was baptized at Bellview Baptist Church.

She attended Bellview Elementary School.

Margaret acquired various jobs in Dallas working as a cook, server, and waitress that allowed her the opportunity to meet many famous and wealthy customers. Through her hard work ethics and savings made it possible for her to send money to her mother and later helped her mother buy a home in Scottsville, TX.

She later married Claude Webb. Together they owned a TV and Radio Repair Shop. No children were gifted to this union. She was present at the birh of her niece, Renee Muckelroy, by her sister Lillie Mae. Margaret soon took Renee and raised her as her own.

She later moved to California where she attended night school while still working days and was able to acquire a high school diploma and a certificate in electronics. Then she was hired at an electronics company where she worked for many years. Through the knowledge from this job, she accomplished to build her very own radio from a schematic at home.

After her mother's illness, she returned back home to Scottsville to care for her. After her mother's dealing with a lengthy illness and being placed in the nursing home, Margaret started helping not only her mother but other residents as well. While there, Margaret was later offered a job. Because of the love and promise she had made to her father at an earlier time to care for the family, she fulfilled this by supporting, aiding, providing, loaning and giving to her family. Being an independent and strong-willed woman, she was respected by many. She was also an entrepreneur, owner of a cafe and was able to purchase local surrounding properties.

She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Samuel and Floyda Mae Cade

Brothers: Tommy Cade, Samuel Cade, Jr., Hobert Cade and Elroy Cade, Sr.

Sisters: Floyda Mae Wright, Mary Cade Jones and Lillie Mae Cade

She leaves the cherish her memory and legacy, her beloved daughter Renee (Clarence) Eaves of Fort Mohave, AZ.; granddaughters, Tameka Burnett of Carson, California and Tanesha Burnett of Chicago, Illinois; great granddaughter, Aaliyah Washington of Chico, California; and a great caring nephew, Edward Cade of Scottsville, Texas; former sister-in-law, Polly Ann (Cade) Fisher; a host of nieces, nephews and other family, and longtime friend Ms. QT Woodkins of Scottsville, Texas.
