Joe Allen Carpenter was born on August 8, 1966 in Marshall, Texas to Joe Will and Emma Vera Shepherd Carpenter.

At an early age, he accepted Christ. He attended Marshall Public Schools; Marshall High School Class of 1985.

He worked for Marshall Mills Elevator for many years. He always made people laugh. He was a fun guy!!

Joe Allen departed this life on December 12, 2020. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Pamela Gray Carpenter; sisters, Sylvia and Marsha Evette; brother, Jeffrey Carpenter.

Joe Allen leaves behind to cherish his memory: two daughters, Latasha and Tamica Carpenter of Marshall, Texas; two step-daughters, Sharonda Gray of Marshall, Texas and Ericka Tidwell of Houston, Texas; two sisters Emma Lashawn Carpenter and Rachel Carpenter both of Marshall, Texas; nine grandchildren, one great grandchild, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
