Gladie was the youngest daughter born November 3, 1956, to the late Charles E. Brown, Sr. and Mable D. Brown in Bethany, Louisiana. She was preceded in death by her youngest brother, Charles E. Brown, Jr.

She leaves to cherish her memory brothers, Amos (Linda) Brown of Panola, TX.; Fredrick (Marilyn) Brown of South Bend, ILL., half-brother, Donald R. Holt of DeBerry, TX.; sisters, Eva J. Brown of Monroe, LA., Beatrice Stewart of DeBerry, TX., Esther Brown of Elysian Fields, TX.; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
