Erma Jean Harris passed from this life on Monday, August 1, 2022. She was the fourth child to be born to Joseph and Annie Mae Rogers. She received her education at Canaan Elementary and H. B. Pemberton High School. Erma loved God and her family. She enjoyed meeting people, playing dominoes and dancing.

Erma was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and a great grandson.

Her memory will always be in the heart of her daughter, Shelia (Julius) Maloy; sisters, Doris "Te" Rogers, Shirley Thomas and Annie Ruth "Ann" Rogers; grandchildren, Andre McCall, William Nesbitt, Pamela McCall, Lashonda Brown and Jennifer Nesbitt; 20 great grandchildren, 20 great, great grandchildren; special friends, James Traylor and Shun Pierson; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
