Edwin O'Neal Wilbert, nicknamed "Neal", was born August 4, 1954 in Marshall, Texas and was 67 on the date of his death. Edwin was killed in a car accident near his home on July 11, 2021. Edwin loved gardening and raising animals. He was a widower, a brother and a loving father.

Edwin is preceded in death by his mother, Betty Jean Wilbert; sisters, Brenda Washington, Wanda Wilbert and Regina Wilbert; brothers, Donald Ray Wilbert, Randy Wilbert, Roderick Wilbert and Antoine Wilbert.

Edwin is survived by his sisters, Velma Lorraine Blythe and Rosalind Denise Wilbert and his brothers, Roy Lee Thompson, Frederick Glen Wilbert, Ricky Wilbert, Bobby Wilbert and Gregory Wilbert.
