Earnest Williams, Jr. was born August 8, 1953 in Marshall, Texas, to Earnest Williams, Sr. and Rosie M.McCowan Williams.

Earnest graduated from Karnack High School. He joined the United States Marine in 1974. He was honorably discharged. He lived in Houston, Texas for most of his life and moved back to Marshall, Texas for a short period of time. He loved his family.

Earnest departed this life on Saturday, July 3, 2021 at his home.

He is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Sophronia Ann McCowan Manning.

He leaves to cherish his memory, siblings, Ella Kador, Vanessa Hyter, Kathlean Williams, Hattie Cooks, Charlotte Perry(Stanley),Denise Haggerty(Cednel), Andrew Williams (Nancy), Tyrone Willams (Debra), Patrick Williams; a number of nieces and relatives.
