Mrs. Betty Jean Daniels was born October 25, 1938 in Marshall, Texas, the beloved daughter of Verdell Shaw Jones Thompson and Henry Calvin.

She grew up in Marshall, Texas, attending school through her 12th grade year at Pemberton High School. After graduating, she went on to obtain her cosmetology license. She attended church with her family and accepted Christ at an early age.

As an adult, she lived in Cleveland, Ohio, where she had her first child. Not long after, she returned to Marshall, Texas, where she had her second child.

She later married Mr. Joe Lewis Daniels and worked domestically raising the children of several families or and treating them as her own. When her beloved husband passed away after battling cancer, she never remarried.

Mrs. Daniels transitioned to heaven on Thursday, May 14, 2020, peacefully in her home in Midwest City, Oklahoma.

She is preceded in death by her mother and father; husband, Joe Daniels; daughter , Sandra Renee Jones Robertson.

Mrs. Daniels leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Mecheryl Calvin; grandsons, Christopher Lynn Jones (Shareka Jones), Travis Robertson, Jr., Patrick Robertson; granddaughters, Candace Robertson and Kricket Shawnee Clough; 12 great grandchildren and 5 great, great grandchildren. She also leaves behind a host of extended family and friends who loved her dearly.
