Mrs. Annie Mae Stewart was born to the late George Hall and Mable Hannon Hall on February 3,1925 in Longview, Texas. At an early age, she was baptized into the Edwards Chapel Baptist Church where she served faithfully. She was a graduate of H. B. Pemberton High School and served as a supervisor at the hospital and the nursing home.

She was united in marriage with Leodis Stewart. To this union, one child was born. She is survived by a family who love and cherish her memory and proud to have been a part of her life.

A wonderful life came to an end on Wednesday, September 20, 2023, for Mrs. Annie Mae Stewart. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leodis Stewart and foster son, Edmond Holmes.

Survivors include: one daughter, Diana Thomas of Marshall, Texas; two grandsons, Lenell Mitchell of Marshall, Texas and Christopher Thomas of Jefferson, Texas; a foster son, Edward Holmes of North Carolina; four great grandchildren, eleven great, great grandchildren, a number of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
