Alvin was a fun loving, down to earth kind of person with a great sense of humor, and very charming with his words.You couldn't help but to love him. Even though he could really work a nerve, he also had a lot of love to give.

Alvin James Gaut, Jr., also known as "June Bugg", was preceded in death by his father, Alvin James Gaut, Sr.

He leaves behind to mourn: his mother, Shirley Gaut Jackson; his 7 children, Chief Petty Officer Reginald Leonard, Sr., Aaron Perkins, Kendrial McFarland, Torrono Davis, Andrea Foster, Adrian Jimmerson and LaDarious Jimmerson; step-son, Untray Jimmerson; 12 grandchildren, a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, other relatives and friend that he loved so much.
